Video interview and a standard conversation. I was asked a few questions about my resume and told about the job. Despite working for the company for 15 years and at my current position for 5 years, I was denied this job. I was told that I was qualified, but that they thought I would be "bored at this position". Basically, I was overqualified for a promotion. Very demoralizing.

It went well. We went straight to Technical questions for the whole hour and the questions weren't bad. The job role was also explained and it seems very interesting, so overall a good experience.
