Slow, took weeks to organize interview pipeline. First interview went well, but second interview was more contentious. They were looking for a specific marketing background which is fair, but it is strange that they took the time to converse with me for an hour before saying that I wouldn't win any respect without a marketing background. If this was their point, then they should have made it early on and should have given a chance to discuss how to approach this challenge. However, the interviewer reserved this for his final word and did not even give me a chance to discuss transferrable skills or share my framework for handling such situations (of getting people on board and building consensus - which is a general transferrable skill that can be displayed even by people outside a marketing background)
