I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Agnikul Cosmos (Chennai) in Feb 2019
Interview
Had the first technical round at their office in Chennai (IIT Madras Incubator). It went well, it was an open round and a bit awkward. Given it was an enclosed space, the quiz room was packed. The CEO and the co founder we’re standing next to my desk and was discussing about salary difficulties. It was a red flag that was never meant for my ear. But I heard it anyways. The phone call interview afterwards was not bad. The salary discussion call was frankly insulting. I was asked about my current salary and what I expect. They offered me something like 60USD or approx. 6000INR. I thought I mis heard because that was nowhere near what I mentioned and clearly not enough to even pay rent in Chennai. But apparently that’s what they usually offer but plan to increase my salary after they notice my performance. I expected it to be lower but clearly not this. So I rejected the offer. Another reason was that I received parallel calls from the co founder and the HR. I felt that this was extremely odd and not a place I wanted to work in. This was in 2018. It’s been 5 years since then, so they might’ve improved from then.

Interview
1. Common questions that had to be written within a time limit.
2. Position specific question to be answered in the afternoon
3. Meet with the existing engineers- Standard who you are, why are you here...
4. Meet with both the founders- Similar to above.
All in the span of one day. Roughly 10 hours in total. Quite a relaxed atmosphere. Personally, the founders seemed fairly limited in their perspective, potentially expecting yes men.
PS. I've not heard back from them.
