I found a job posting for brand designer on LinkedIn and applied. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a follow up email only 3 days later. I first had a quick 30 minute phone screen with a recruiter. He was very warm and gave me a download on the company’s history and what the responsibilities for the role would look like. A few days later I got to speak with the Associate Creative Director, I told him about my background and work experience. He was wonderful to talk to and gave me insights on what it’s like to be a designer at Affirm and informed me about exciting projects the company was hoping to take on by the end of the year. Following that, I was asked to come in for a few in person interviews with the rest of the brand design team. I had four 45 min presentations/chats with other members on the team. Everyone was very kind and enthusiastic about why loved working at Affirm. Soon after the final interview, I got a call from the recruiter saying he had an offer for me. The experience was a very positive one. I felt guided, supported and valued through out the whole process.
