I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Advecor in Nov 2012
Interview
After applying I was called for a phone interview. I then sent a thank you for that and recieved a response asking for an in person interview. I took time from my current job to interview and they seemed completely uninterested in me right from the beginning. The interview took 25 minutes. It was 4 people firing off random questions at me. Kind of unorganized. When the first question is tell me about yourself you know the interviewer is unprepared. After asking my questions I thanked them and left. I had asked what the time frame was for the next step and received the answer of "soon", which was completely useless. I then sent a thank you email and expressed my interest in the position. This is the only job I really cared about in months. A week and a half later I sent an email asking for an updated timeline and did not get a response at all. The next week I called and she wasn't there. So I sent another email, one last chance for them to be decent and respond...nothing for another week when my rejection letter came.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Advecor (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
I was referred to the company through a staffing company, I was interviewed in the conference room by the VP of sales, the Lead Client Services Coordinator, and a data services manager. I did bring multiple copies of my resume which was helpful, but most of the panel never looked at it. The office attire is very casual even though I wore a suit. The phrase work hard play hard was repeated several times during my interview and I still have doubts about the work life balance. The office is very well kept, contemporary, and also has a well stocked break room.
