Outcome: Ghosted
I advanced to a VP-level interview that focused on systems thinking, customer experience, and the company’s ambitions around automation and intelligence. The discussion itself was substantive and suggested a serious evaluation process.
After the interview, there was no feedback, no rejection, and no follow-up. Weeks later, the only outreach I received was an automated candidate experience survey.
Given the company’s emphasis on building better, more human experiences through intelligent workflows, this was a disappointing contradiction. Interviews at this level imply mutual investment. Silence followed by automation sends a clear signal about how that investment is valued.
I do not expect hand-holding, but I do expect basic closure after a senior-level interview. Candidates should calibrate expectations accordingly.
