I was contacted by the HR Recruiter a few weeks after submitting my resume through the company website. I was scheduled for an interview that week, followed up by email the following week, and after following up by email again 3 weeks later, was finally informed they went with another candidate. That same day, the job posting re-appeared on Craigslist. I wasn't the right candidate, obviously, but the interview had seemed to go so well, it was surprising I wasn't at least brought back in for a second interview with HR.
