Accugen Laboratories interview questions

I received a message via LinkedIn inviting me to a Zoom interview. I found this strange as typically all communications for job applications are completed via email. This was just the beginning of my strange interview experience. I scheduled a conversation with Ashtar via Zoom. We spoke for about 30 minutes with another lab member. The bulk of the conversation was about the current processes of the lab, growth opportunities, and general workflow. I received an offer the next day via LinkedIn. Ashtar began sharing benefits, pay information and other information prior to sending me an offer letter or allowing time for me to process the offer. This all occurred at about 9PM at night via LinkedIn. I asked for a couple days to review the offer. The a few days later, Ashtar asked if I had reached a decision because "he wanted to let the other candidate know". Overall, this experience was completely unprofessional and made we never want to work for this company again. It is a family-owned business which seems to only create more issues for non-family employees. Be very careful in your interview as you may commit without even know. Overall, I recommend putting someone with tangible hiring experiences in that role. Interviewing candidates is not just an opportunity for the company to learn about applicants, but for people to learn about your company. Transition to a clear, industry-standard hiring process, be more professional and don't seem so desperate.

resume was sent to the manager by email. did an onsite interview with other candidates and a lab tour. the interviewer is friendly. not many difficult questions because it was an entry level position.
