Question 1
After wasting my weekend working on the assessment, they e-mailed me back, said I'd done well and they'd contact me soon. About a week later they said they'd decided to go with someone else. Why not do a screening before making me take a 90 minute assessment then? It wasn't difficult, but it's time that I'll never get back that I could have spent applying for other companies.

Interview
Five interviews with a different interviewer each time (recruiter, hiring manager, peer, two others one level above me). All the interviews were scheduled within a two week timeframe and I heard back a few days after the process completed.
I'm sure you already know how to do it. Google up product management, read up and perhaps listen to blogs. They ask past behavior questions in the workplace and how you handled. Many offshore teams so ask that in the interview so you will know your hours.
