What a weird experience. If their interview process is any representation of what it's like to work for them, I would caution anyone interviewing here! A recruiter reached out to me for the role. They had me fill out a 28 question survey to determine if I was a fit for the role. From there I received a link for an interview via skype. There was no date or time for the interview, just the link. The link opened up a chat through Skype with the recruiter. When I reached out, the recruiter was not sure what I was reaching out for or which role. Then after getting him synced up, I had to ask to set up a time for the interview. On the day of the interview, I reached out to the recruiter and again he asked if I was reaching out for the screening and interview?? After clarifying the role I was interviewing for it took 10 minutes for him to respond and let me know that this would be an interview conducted strictly through messaging. Very weird. Then after waiting another 15 minutes for the recruiter to send a message, he let me know about the role and its compensation. This is where it gets even weirder. The recruiter let me know that the role is a salaried full time role that paid an hourly rate??? Additionally, in the job description he sent over it mentions that the role could be part time or full time? SO many conflicting messages. After about 45 minutes of being in the chat (scheduled for 1 hour) with limited responses, the recruiter sent me 17 detailed questions to answer about myself in the 15 minutes we had remaining for the interview. At this point I decided this role and company was not for me. They could really use some help in their hiring process if they want to attract quality talent.

I was invited to their interview process because a recruiter saw and liked my profile on Angel List. I finished the pre-screening information sections (lengthy but fine), and then was invited a few days later to a first round interview over Skype. The link given to me created a Skype conversation between me and the hiring manager, but when I introduced myself I was given a rude response back that my format was incorrect (what format? how was I to know they had one?) for giving my name and information. I was then told "fill out the information in "xyz" format, then we can proceed". I turned down the interview immediately and won't look back. If they treat you badly at the first person to person interaction, you know for sure they will treat you worse later.
