Fast-paced yet welcoming, the Abercrombie interview felt organized and personable. Recruiters emphasized culture fit, creativity, and growth, making the process feel professional, modern, and genuinely engaging. Very easy overall and chill, it was more conversational than professional.
I applied online. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Wayne, NJ) in Sept 2011
Interview
They took very long to call me in for an interview, I believe it was almost three weeks. This was an uncommon situation though. From my experience, after my offer, they call within a week. I had a group interview that was held outside of the store in the food court of the mall. The manager was very welcoming and down to earth. He asked us the ordinary interview questions. Describe yourself, why abercrombie, give me a scenario where you had to overcome a challenge, etc; Overall it was very relaxed. I received a call two days later and started working the following week. Just remember to be calm and collected. You don't need to sound over the top sophisticated, just know the company a prepare for the typical questions. Tip: where the clothes of the store if possible. This isn't necessary, but it helps the managers to visualize you as an employee.

Interview
It was completely remote, no face to face communication. I sent in a video using one of their video interview applications where I answered really standard questions. Within a few days I got an email saying I got the position.
