I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2012
Interview
there was only one group interview. It was a group of 4 and done by the manager who was very relaxed about the questions. The managers are all about 25yo and wasn't intimidating at the interview. I think they realize that many of the applicants are applying for their first job. Mostly consisted of basic behavioral questions that was on a script. asked about diversity's importance in the workplace. very relaxed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
asked about diversity's importance in the workplace and very basic behavioral questions. I honestly didn't prepare at all for this interview and didn't have a hard time with it. They just want to make sure you are personable and will be able to talk to customers.
One on one individual interview that encourages you to dress the part for the image of Abercrombie. Group interviews allow you share your thoughts while bouncing off of each others’ input.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Santa Barbara, CA)
Interview
A manager sat a group of us down outside the store somewhere within the mall. They asked specific questions about the Abercrombie style and brand. They didn't ask much about the candidates individually. This was many years ago, so I'm sure it's different now.
I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Philadelphia, PA)
Interview
Small group interview in the mall round table questions. Easy, don’t copy the other answers that’s it. Hear back pretty quick. Overall great vibe would highly recommend it to college students
