I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2011
Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward, if they approached you in store about being a model, then you're pretty much guaranteed the position as long as you don't come off as completely incompetent during the interview. The manager takes a group to a quiet part of the mall and asks question like "what does diversity mean to you?" and "why would you be a good fit at our store?".
One on one individual interview that encourages you to dress the part for the image of Abercrombie. Group interviews allow you share your thoughts while bouncing off of each others’ input.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Santa Barbara, CA)
Interview
A manager sat a group of us down outside the store somewhere within the mall. They asked specific questions about the Abercrombie style and brand. They didn't ask much about the candidates individually. This was many years ago, so I'm sure it's different now.

Interview
Small group interview in the mall round table questions. Easy, don’t copy the other answers that’s it. Hear back pretty quick. Overall great vibe would highly recommend it to college students
