I had 5 interviews for this position. At one of the interviews, the interviewer was an hour late. He then stated that I was a perfect candidate and that he wanted to hire me for sure. One of the other interviews was cancelled last minute. I drove 3 hours one way for one of the interviews as well. The communication between the hiring team and me was horrendous. They stated that they would make a decision by the end of April, and they finally sent me a not selected message at the end of May. Although I have heard many great things about Abbott, this terrible interview process was enough to make me not consider any of their positions again. Asking a candidate to go through 5 interviews and then giving a decision about the position a month after the stated deadline feels very disrespectful. I did not feel that the hiring team viewed my time as valuable.

Very straightforward and professional throughout the entire interview process. They communicated clearly, answered questions honestly and proactively, and never gave me the runaround. I appreciated how respectful they were of my time by keeping me informed, setting clear expectations, and not leaving me waiting unnecessarily between interview steps.
