I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AbbVie
Interview
Two 30 minute interviews back to back on same day. First interviewer was HR guy - really uncomfortable as it seemed like he was following a script and trying to somewhat get you in "gotcha" questions. Second interviewer was industry professional who actually works there. Very comfortable and had a natural conversation. I was really turned off by the first HR guy but the second industry guy interviewer turned it around. Overall, pretty easy though.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AbbVie (North Chicago, IL) in Mar 2026
Interview
I was reached out to by a recruiter to apply. A bit over a week later, I had two 30-minute behavioral interviews with two people on the same team. Interviews were casual and vibes were good. Questions were either stuff on my resume, situational based, or my experience beyond my resume. There was plenty of time left for questions. The interviewers were friendly and genuinely wanted to know more about the candidate. They took about 2 full weeks to get back with the offer.
I applied online. I interviewed at AbbVie (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2026
Interview
Standard interview it was three rounds with 5 people in total. Some technical questions and Star questions as well. Overall a good experience. It took about two weeks to hear back from the hiring manager.
