Initial telephone conversation to briefly share past experience and motivations behind applying. This was followed by an interview with competency and technical questions over a few hours with the hiring manager.
I found the Axa uk interview process to be a very fair process where they were not trying to catch me out. The people interviewing asked good questions and I got to understand the role.

They asked logical assessment questions I.e. how many X would Axa insure.
Tedious and long, the interviewer seemed to care more about showing how smart he is instead of judging my suitability for the role. A rather bizarre experience I would say
