The interview process seemed highly unethical. It involved having candidates come in and give presentations on how they would solve a current issue at AUSL. I've been asked to give presentations during interviews in the past, but they never had a direct benefit to the company.
On the day I interviewed, another candidate was leaving as I arrived and when I departed, I walked past another candidate who was just showing up for her interview. I know that at the very least, AUSL interviewed 3 people for this role. I was not offered the job and thought that perhaps one of the other candidates was more aligned with their requirements. However, they re-posted the same exact job a few days later. I find it difficult to believe that of the 3 people who they interviewed and had present, that none of us was a good match.
