      Senior Mechanical Engineer Interview

      9 Aug 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Diego, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at ASML (San Diego, CA) in May 2022

      Interview

      - I was referred by an employee. - I spoke with an internal recruiter. - Then I spoke with a hiring manager, and he indicated that he wanted to set up the next steps. - A week later, the recruiter called me to ask if I wanted to move forward, and if so to provide times to interview. - I responded with my times within an hour. I gave two weeks of times, and then heard nothing for over a week, so I contacted the recruiter again. - The recruiter said the had to look at the schedules and he would get back to me the following week. - Another 10 days went buy without a response, and I re-contacted the recruiter. He said he had to look at the schedules. - I repeated this every two weeks, two more times. After the fourth attempt and 8 weeks later, I gave up contacting him. No wonder this company has so many openings, they cannot even set up an interview!
