I applied online via Asda's website. Then I received a phone call saying that I had been successful with the first part and that I had to attend a recruitment process, also known as asda magic. There was 7 of us and firstly we had to pair up and get as much information about our partner and then present the information to everyone else. Secondly we went into 2 groups in which we then had to create an advert with a product chosen at random. Lastly we went onto the shop floor and helped around for about 20-30 minutes and filled a form about the activities. We all went back up to wait for our individual interview's and then we got to go.

Interview
I turned up to the Asda magic group assessment. Everyone was very friendly. I was the only one who turned up in a suit, I was told that made a great impression at a later date.
We first played people bingo, having to interact with everyone. The awesome were watching our confidence and the way we interacted with one another, eye contact is key.
Then we were split into 2 groups and had to build a house out of straws and then sell it. The whole process is relaxed and nothing to worry about. Be confident interact with others and get involved and you will be fine!!
