I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ASDA (Newcastle, England) in Sept 2019
Interview
There was a practical aspect where you have to do tasks on the shop floor like sorting out the produce and then a group assessment where they asked for your feedback about the store, for example what they could do to improve customer services and safety. They then did a interview with all the applicants after.
In person interview, they ask 4 questions mainly personality based and also some work related ones. They then tour you around the store, and you get to meet some colleagues
Good, thorough process, seemed like a nice culture and the manager was well informed. Process felt fair and I was put at ease throughout by the interviewer. It was a good experience
Easy competency questions with one interviewer. Some questions about how you'd help customers and work with colleagues. Some questions about my background and how I could make a positive impact.
