I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AMP Limited
Interview
Phone Interview with HR - standard questions about experience and the role being advertised, booked in a f2f interview
Face to Face interview with PM and Program manager - explained the project, pretty upfront about the difficulties and challenges, asked standard questions throughout the interview about my experience on projects i.e. change, schedule, financial, reporting manager etc.
At the end of the interview I felt that the role and project was not for me (the project seemed like an absolute mess). Said they were interviewing a few people and getting back to me after a week, didn't happen so I assumed I didn't get an offer.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AMP Limited (Sydney) in Nov 2017
Interview
I was approached directly by AMP on LinkedIn. Standard phone interview with HR, followed by a face to face interview with the team lead then a second panel interview with more senior staff.
Standard interview questions that focused on skill set and experience in project management with a few behavioural questions thrown in. All interviews were very relaxed and friendly.
The only reason I am marking this as a negative experience is because AMP never contacted me to advise of the outcome, no phone call, no voicemail, not even an email.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AMP Limited (Sydney) in Apr 2015
Interview
One hour face to face interview. I interviewed with two gentlemen from the digital arm for a project management position, who were smart and asked the right questions and I delivered as I'm quite experienced in my filed.
The reason that I'm giving this a negative experience is that THREE weeks later they have NOT bothered to get back to me with a 'thanks but no thanks'. AMP seems to feel its ok to engage a candidate, interview them and just not bother to close the loop. I should add that there is an agent in the middle when whom I approached just said they've tried to get in touch however AMP is just not getting back to them. Either way AMP please have the decency to get back to the candidate so they can make other decisions etc.
