I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AMD (Markham, ON) in Mar 2011
Interview
First interview with a few managers / Sr engineers from different teams. A few discussions about past experience, some quick questions to answer verbally. Then although entire interview was short (30-45 min), was given a few coding questions on 2-3 sheets of paper to answer. I wasn't expecting this on such a short first interview...
Second interview with yet another manager and a few engineers from team. Informal and fun about my past experiences.
Next was told to come and solve a few questions. A few pages with mostly coding questions. Given ample time, left alone to concentrate. I was prepared for that.
