I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI
Interview
Applied online, passed all the scenario judgement questions etc and got an individual assesment 2 weeks later.
Seemed to go well, quite positive, area manager seemed nice got a trial shift the following Friday.
Trial shift consisted of putting a frozen delivery away, whilst customers were asking me questions i didnt know the answer to "where's x" so i soent alot of time looking for the store manager training with me to find out where said products were. I knew where sone of them were from walking round the store.
I have a friend who works for aldi and she said "work hard and ask questions and you'll be fine".
So i thought it had gone ok but a week later i got an email saying my application wasnt successful with zero feedback stating "we get too many applications to provide feedback" which i think is quite rude when someones given up 2 hours of their time to work for them for free. Perhaps i dodged a bullet.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Newbury, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
Laid back and non invasive. Big pressure on efficiency and numbers etc. Two senior leaders there on the day. Overall positive. Can be daunting to the untrained eye. Would recommend
