My first 2 rounds of interviews were good. It was genuinely asking about my background and my strengths/weaknesses, but then, towards the higher-up interviews, I was quite thrown off by the way they reacted to my question about my expectations of the company being "enabling work-life balance", I was chuckled at stating that this is something the company could not give and is only up to the employee to get themselves organized. To a degree, I understood what they meant, but work-life balance requires mutual efforts.
