I applied online. I interviewed at AIPAC (Washington, DC) in Mar 2014
Interview
Started with an extensive phone interview, you need to know what the organization does. Two weeks later I was called back for a 2nd interview with my perspective boss in Washington DC. The interview took three hours. About a week later I was called back to Washington DC to interview with 5 department heads including the Managing Director of the organization. It was an all day affair, quite extensive and exhausting. Key to the interviews is being enthusiastic, be passionate about the organizations and what it does, must understand its mission and be able to articulate it. This was one of the most intense interview processes I ever experienced.

Interview
I applied online and got an email asking for a video interview call. Felt like I was being interviewed to enter the Pentagon... very intense questions about global affairs, etc. The interviewer wasn't mean or anything, just a very intense person with such heavy questions, luckily I studied international affairs in Israel, so I was prepared for the questions.
