      Anonymous Interview

      30 Nov 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Olathe, KS
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AIG (Olathe, KS) in Aug 2015

      Interview

After 3 long months of waiting and receiving updates from AIG on a weekly basis they made me an offer and provided me with a start date. Now, a few weeks before the position was to begin I received a generic email from them letting me know that they have now decide not to move forward with the job offer due to salary requirements. They have known what my requirements were for the entire long and disorganized interview process. How can a company make you an offer in writing, agree on salary and even offer you an initial bonus only to rescind the offer 2.5 weeks before the agreed start date? It is very unethical in my opinion and clearly shows they have no regard for others. Because of their lack of caring I have had to retract my notice at my current employer. All I can say is BEWARE!!!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Considering they had not hired a department manager when they interviewed me the questions were disorganized. They only focused on experience and salary requirements.
