Very professional and straightforward I very much enjoyed the interview process at AERMORand look forward to working with them. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of my question honestly!

Question 1
Why do you think you would be a good fit for our company
Interviewer/potential boss initiated contact. Sent me an email requiring a cover letter to be completed same day stating why I should work there. After I sent it same day, he promptly required another stating why I'm a good fit to be his secretary (my answer was already in the cover letter if he was paying attention) to be completed before I got home from my current job. Not friendly and expected friendliness; didn't respond to my texts back to him. Very silly hiring process; dragged it out until I sent the last piece, then zero communication. I wonder how many people this guy contacted asking them to write cover letters and emails to him. Pay was also less than what was originally stated in job listing. Don't waste people's time.

Question 1
send an email with explanation of why you think you will be a good fit in this position
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AERMOR (Virginia Beach, VA) in Jun 2016
Interview
Interviewer was not technically-inclined, so interview primarily consisted of talking about the company and possible opportunities. Due to being a defense contractor, the job applied wouldn't necessarily be the role I would end up with. I could work at the job for a few months until another contract opportunity presented itself.
Some questions were made regarding my approach to certain situations, but they were mostly directed towards how I would deal with people after I left military service, i.e. can I "turn off" my military attitude and deal with people on a "normal" level.
Received formal job offer and accepted it. However, lost all contact with the company for two weeks following that. When I was finally able to contact someone, I was told that the job offer was rescinded, with no reason provided. This was after I was highly recommended by the personnel at the location of the job I was applying for and, obviously, after the job offer was extended.
