I had a wonderful conversation with the HR recruiter and then the hiring manager, as well as a panel interview. The team was friendly and responsive - at least until they had to notify they didn't select me for the position. If an applicant makes it through the entire interview process and then has to find out they did not get the position via the application portal, that is a huge miss on the companies part. I know this issue is not just an AARP problem, but an issue within the entire recruiting industry. I just expected better after my experience interviewing.
