I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at A.N. Deringer (Carpentersville, IL) in May 2023
Interview
Easy as setting a time for a phone call. Call was about 5 minutes late, but understandable. First 2 questions were about getting to know background then 3rd questioned ended it all.

Question 1
Do you live with anyone that works in the logistics field?
Easy questions, they just going through the process for show. They ultimately already have their own people line up for the positions. So a lot of the interview are for show.
HR go straight to the hourly offer which is only $21-23 a hours smh. And they will ask if you are ok with it or need some time to think about it before going further with the interview.
the interviewer make it that you can make extra money by doing OT… ha! What a joke.
There is no work life balance if that’s what you are telling the new hires. I’m not desperate for a job to work me like a slave so everyone becareful before accepting these not even enough to live offers unless you are coming in with connections then I’m sure your salary is more negotiable.

Interview
I first applied for the job on June 19th, heard back on the 22nd for initial phone interview. Did not hear back for follow up interview until July 17th because initial position was filled & new one happened to open up. Did not do my 2nd interview until August 9th... It is now the 18th of September and I still have not heard back. I even reached out to the HR person who helped throughout the process to only receive an automated response that she is no longer with the company. BIGGEST waste of my time, thank god I didn't receive an offer as the benefits sounded just as awful as the interview process.
