This was an in person interview at the MIT career and development office. I met a recruiter at the career fair and they took my information down. I did not apply to 3M as I was not looking for jobs in that geographic area. They then reached out to me for an interview. One of my friends had an internship there, so it's possibly he referred me although I did not ask him to. The interview was about 30-45 minutes and very informal. There were some typical behavioral questions that they wanted answered in an engineering context.
