I applied through university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at 1-800-GOT-JUNK?
Interview
One to two interviews with current management and franchise owner. Reference checks from previous employment. Ride along with an employee or management as well to see how you perform for one day. Also may include an online personality test. Overall fairly lax interview. May be in a warehouse or office of the junk office so don't be surprised if it isn't much or very fancy.

Interview
It started out as a positive experience but left a bad impression at the end. I applied online and I had the interview with the HR person the same week which lasted about 30 mins. She explained there would be a total of 5 interviews with the last one being a case study. Our interview went well so she immediately scheduled my next in person interview for the next day. After the in person I heard from HR same day because they wanted to schedule my next interview. Thursday was the day she emailed confirming time and zoom link of 3rd interview for Tuesday of the following of the following week. Monday morning I get an email saying my interview was cancelled and they have an offer to another candidate.
I’ve never had a company cancel a interview mid process to tell me they’ve hired someone else. The whole thing seemed very unprofessional. With the long process of their interviews that the HR person explained, I imagine they gave the other candidate an offer as they scheduled my 3rd interview and they were using anyone else interviewing as back up with no intention of moving forward. I feel that it was a waste of my time as I had to request 3 times off my current job to interview with them and one that did not happen. I personally would not have any interest in working for this company in the future.

Interview
I applied online for Operations Manager and they called within a few days. The telephone interview went well so I was asked to come in for a "real" interview. When I got there I was told that the position I had applied for, Operations Manager, was not available but they would consider me for a Truck Team Member at half the salary we had talked about for the Ops position. I figured why not, I need a job so I said OK. I was told to accept the position in writing via email. I did that the same day. A few days later they responded that all positions had been filled. This was the first time I was ever declined after accepting an offer. Something made me suspicious of them from the beginning. I don't think they value the truth. It's like when a salesman says, "Trust me," you know not to trust them.

They put me on the spot to give a short presentation based on a short video that I had been shown and what I knew about the company.
