Pros
I’ve been working as an RBT at the Douglaston center since November, and it’s been a really positive experience. I started out with just afternoon cases, but by the end of January, the center and office helped me get morning case too, so now I have a solid morning-to-evening schedule. The structure here is great—having Center Lead, Center RBT, and BCBAs all working together means there’s always someone to turn to if you need help or have questions about a case. It feels like a real team rather than just working in isolation.
Cons
Working from morning to evening can make for long days, so you definitely need good time management to maintain a work-life balance.
