Pros
Upward mobility- nearly every corporate position is held by someone who started at the bottom of the company and actually knows how to do your job.
Great culture- Safety and integrity are taken very seriously.
Strong backing- if you can explain your needs well, there is a large amount of financial support available.
Cons
Part of the nature of this industry is that the hours can go a bit on the long side, nothing like the oil field, though.
I suppose the servant leadership model can be tough for some people, but I appreciate it. However, there can be points where the buck stops and you are held accountable from above and below, if that makes sense.
