Pros
Good for starting your automotive career
Not much work to do when slow
Flexible schedule
Coworkers are awesome to get along with
Decent pay
Guaranteed hours once you've been there for a bit
Can work on your own car in the shop if permitted
Half off all services as an employee
Cons
Often understaffed, overworked depending on busyness, management has unrealistic expectations regarding customers and workload, management refuses to fire employees who are obviously under the influence or hard drugs or alcohol, hardly cares about employees, cares more about customer satisfaction and numbers while reeming you out if it's a slow day, will expect you to do multiple cars by yourself if short staffed
