Pros
They have fantastic health benefits and the pay is good.
Cons
The entire public image of Vacasa is negative. If you do a quick search online, you can hardly find any reviews that are not negative. This puts the sales executive in a rough spot because if you can't get the homeowner to sign up on the spot, they will most likely end up googling it and will have no interest. The management fee is higher than any competition which can't be justified by the horrible reputation this company has. Oh, and let me tell you how horribly unorganized this company is. When I started and finished their few weeks of training, I had absolutely no more guidance. It was like I was thrown to the wolves. Colleagues said to forget everything I learned in training because we don't offer as much as they say, and the steps to navigate the CRM were all wrong. Then 20% of the workforce got laid off. I survived that by some miracle, but they laid off most off the field operations in my state, so I ended up have very angry homeowners whom I signed up screaming at me because I promised so much and nothing was delivered. From there, the amount of new units I was signing up decreased, as word spread amongst homeowners that Vacasa is terrible. I ended up getting fired after a year and a half for being one signed contract short of quota, and did not get paid any commission I would have earned from the current signed contracts. I then found out that they did another round of layoffs just a few weeks after they let me go and one of my former colleagues was out on the field meeting with a client only to find herself locked out of the companies computer when she got home. I'm pissed because I would've preferred to get laid off so I could get unemployment.
