      People? Amazing! Leadership? Needs work

      Sales
      Former employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

A strong sense of camaraderie and supportive teamwork is a major highlight. Many long-tenured employees express that the team environment is a key reason for their longevity at the company. The paid time off policy is generous, and management is generally supportive of employees who need to take time for personal or medical emergencies. The management team often serves as a buffer between staff and senior leadership, which is a testament to their dedication to their direct reports. There are opportunities for professional growth and learning within the organization.

      Cons

Senior leadership has a tendency to prioritize immediate results, which has led to frequent organizational changes, including team re-alignments, changes to sales territories, and staff reductions. There is a lack of consistency in company-wide policies and strategic direction. The company's structure has changed several times in recent history. Compensation, particularly within the sales department, is not competitive with current market rates. Leadership diversity appears to be an area for improvement. While there are procedures for reporting unprofessional conduct, the follow-through and resolution from human resources seem to be inconsistent.

Great Work-Life balance and environment and benefits

      Current employee

      Business outlook

      Pros

I value the work-life balance they offer, which is one of the best aspects of the company. The environment here is collaborative, supportive, and promotes growth, making it a great place to learn and work with talented colleagues. The work culture truly stands out—it's refreshing to be part of a company where you're encouraged to take ownership of your work without feeling overburdened. Managers are approachable, and there's a genuine effort to maintain a healthy and positive atmosphere.

      Cons

salary is not quite aligned with market standards. While the other benefits, like flexibility and work environment, partially make up for this, it can be a deciding factor for professionals prioritizing financial growth.

Underpaying as hard as they can, now mixed with a merger

      Security engineer
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Managers being transparent telling you that you won't get a higher salary in this company

      Cons

Before the merger it was already not so good, but after it everything is going all the way downhill! I was sold "high growth opportunities" when I joined, and to this day I haven't received a single salary raise, just fake promises of growth which will never come true They burnout the hardworking employees for nothing as reward, hard cases of favoritism as others already mentioned here, and also you will be judged if you say your opinion publicly when the company takes some of their useless decissions Lots of useless staff and high dependencies, also you will have to assist to lots of useless meetings where you don't even need to say a single word, even if you have a plain role like security engineer, dev or anything really Whether you have to work with code or infra, good luck trying to untangle that spaghetti plate, even worse if you are in a technical role in security, where you are expected to do and know every kind of stuff in that mess for the lowest salary ever for a technical security role and be in charge when there's a complex incident that needs to be solved They will also try to sell you "diversity, equality" and the whole rest of HR wonderful words, but when it comes to conditions, they change a lot depending on where you work from The only reward you will get for doing a nice job will be a pat on the back by your manager The conditions reality working from Spain is SUPER POOR, in security you are expected to have lots of knowledge from devops to dev and finally security, but then you see how you are getting paid 35k a year, while you can even check every other plain dev salary submit in here or in userzooms glassdoor exceeding that salary around +10k, and any other smaller companies offer you at least 50k for a similar position, its just a shame and laughing at the employee really that you can't find a lower paying position in any other company for a security role Also if you tell your manager about your salary, they will tell you "it's a nice salary and if you wan't more, then you won't find it in this company" Add to that the general burnout feeling of the rest of employees, it's just really SAD seeing how employees smile and act funny in public, but will say how they are doing lots of work trying to remake a poor product deemed to sink in a record time for no reward or decent salary when they allow an anonymous chat in company wide meetings (that's the reason why they don't allow the anonymous chat anymore or skip the true questions :) ) There were also literal braind**d employees that cheered the CEO when he was announcing the layoffs for being "transparent", that's the kind of level of brainwashing this company tries to do to its employees It's hard staying in a good mood while working for this company even if you try to, trust me Cheers to the employees who got the chance to join a better company, and also those who are still here but stand to their values and face against the company decissions and policies when they degrade the employees conditions and compensation In general, best advice is leaving as soon as you can to get paid decently for your work in another company, you will find lots of similar comments here
