Switching between day and night shift

The benefits (unmatched by a long shot), working in a professional environment and broadening your skill set far outweigh what some might label as “cons” or inconveniences. I was never as confident as during my time of employment with this organization. No matter my position at this organization, I came into work each day proud, feeling like I was part of something bigger and grateful for the opportunity to be part of Michigan Medicine and my team of colleagues.

I would recommend arriving approximately 45 minutes (at least, unless you work a night shift) before your shift starts to find parking without rushing or risking an accident.

No cons great staff and coworkers

- hybrid. You will need a part time job making 45k in Washtenaw County. - god complex. You will feel the Michigan Difference, but not until you’ve been hazed for 8 weeks of in person training. - free food. You will get random food before/after the entire office gets belittled and put down. (Weekly)

- diet racism, homophobia, and ageism. - deception. You will not be able to sleep at night after lying to thousands of kids (for several months) about their chances of getting admitted. - micromanaged. You will not be able to relax without scheduling it to your google calendar. You will be answering to ~3 different members of leadership to complete 1 task. - poor office culture. You will not be friends with your coworkers. You will be trashed, ignored, and disrespected by leadership on a weekly basis.
