UPMC does not do well with retaining staff. There is no incentive to stay. We loose great staff because they are overworked and under appreciated.

There are lots of opportunities to grow your nursing career in any direction you can imagine. You're working for a groundbreaking hospital system that is actively improving healthcare. UPMC is always willing to invest in their employees education and development, I feel like it's not mentioned ever- but they offer a pension to their Nurses.

The health insurance benefits are not great.
