Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience with us wasn’t what you had hoped for. At Thrive Chicago, we pride ourselves on fostering a strong, supportive team culture, so it’s always disappointing to see someone leave on less-than-positive terms.
We’d like to clarify a few points you brought up. It is true that we offer opportunities for pay increases to our employees—this has always been part of our structure. However, it is the employee’s responsibility to communicate with management if they are seeking that advancement.
Regarding your employment specifically, you are no longer with the company due to accumulating 8 attendance infractions within your first 90 days. Unfortunately, because of frequent call-offs—averaging at least once a week—you were never able to consistently work a full-time schedule, which affected your earnings and ability to grow within the company. So while we understand your frustration, the statement that “no one makes good money here” simply isn’t accurate. Many of our team members do very well—but that level of success requires consistency and effort.
Again, we regret that your time with us didn’t meet your expectations. That said, the issues you mentioned appear to be specific to your individual experience and not reflective of Thrive Chicago as a whole. Any further questions, comments or concerns do not hesitate on reaching out to us at hr@gothrivechicago.com.
We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
