Interviewers entered with a visibly dismissive and unfriendly attitude. Mocked my BBA degree and questioned its legitimacy for a finance career. Stated it was “too late” for me to pursue finance and implied I wasn’t smart enough. Asked me to list investment banks — irrelevant to the role and clearly meant to embarrass. Laughed and made side comments during my responses, especially in Cantonese as I am a native english speaker. Showed zero interest in my background, skills, or relevant experience. Entire tone was condescending, unprofessional, and humiliating. Worst interview experience I’ve ever had across any company or industry. I withdrew my application immediately afterward.
