What is the salary like at Sport Clips?

Good for building up a clientele, flexible hours

Time off policy & benefits are not good. All of the stylists wish we had set hours/days instead of a different schedule every single week. I've also been here 3+ years and have never gotten a raise, which has been hard on all of the employees. They changed the pay structure a few years ago, whereby we used to get pretty decent bonuses on our paychecks every 2 weeks for service upsells and product commission, but now the barriers are MUCH higher, making it nearly impossible to get bonuses anymore, which has also decreased our overall income.

Tips are great the clients tip higher than ave

Upper management is beyond horrible, acts like a cliquey teenager and causes drama for her entertainment and lies constantly, pay is very low compared to what they make you bring in an hour

Clients are easy-going and easy to make happy. Coworkers are often fun to work with and make the job enjoyable. The pay is reasonable, and the team leaders (our franchise owners) are great people who take care of their staff.

Hours are dependent on current staff and managers that are always changing. Even if you're full time, they base your hours on performance if they are overstaffed. If they are understaffed, you will be given full-time hours regardless. Some weeks you can be working 35-40 hours and I've been scheduled as little as 10 for not selling enough retail the week prior. This is why I find the job extremely enjoyable for something you don't have to rely on for bills, and very stressful otherwise.
