Does Shenzhen Technology University have an on site gym?

New campus + new facilities, students are good.

The uni had just changed its objective and direction from "Uni of Applied Science"- Teaching focused, to "Research Uni". The management forcing all existing academics to sign an additional documents to comit an "x" numbers of research outputs and research grants, failing which the work contract will not be renewed when expired. Half the academic staffs in some schools left after 3-4 years, due to no end of contract gratitute, new contract no increament, over promise of promotion, and etc. The HR do not care as they have a lot of fresh bloods wanting to join.

International environment, world-class faculties, great facilities. Professors are encouraged to develop industry connections to do applied research.

High teaching load. Limited in terms of applying for national grants.
