Pros
The people. I started there when the company was still fresh and in start-up mode and we operated as a family. Everyone helped everyone. I looked forward to work every day.
Cons
As the company grew and new management took over, they almost punished those of us who had been there from the beginning. My manager wanted me to readjust to 'his way' of doing things right away after I had already been there for 3 almost 4 years doing the process of my every day the same way. He micromanaged, would tell me I was doing a great job, give me more responsibility, but then behind my back tell other people in other departments and people in my department the opposite. Instead of being professional, he would make everything personal and made it miserable to work. While my supervisor was away on maternity leave, he took that as his opportunity to get rid of me. I was getting all my work done, was being given more responsibilities, was getting great feedback during my reviews with my management, but he fired me with no reason as to why. It so disappointing going from loving your job everyday for almost 4 years to someone new taking over and them deciding they don't like you as a person and take that out on you professionally within the first few months of them being in leadership.
