What is the hiring process like at Reddit?

I was only a contractor there for 8 months but had a great experience working with the talent acquisition team and a few of the hiring managers within the sales organization. This was pre-IPO so it was an exciting time to be involved with their growth.

More just a downside of being a contractor - not being able to be as involved in the company culture, get benefits, etc. - but that was all somewhat expected.

Perks are great: unlimited vacation (conditional), additional company-based holidays, nice medical insurance programs, 5k a year allowance for personal development and inventory needed for doing work. Great culture.

Hiring process is slow. Some teams lack of engineering managers due to it.
