Pros
Learned a ton in relation to the exposure of new engagements.
Cons
Joining this firm felt like being thrown into deep water without a life vest. The "training" consisted of a generic two-hour video that provided little to no real-world guidance, making the transition from private to public unnecessarily difficult.
Leadership was a major letdown. The partner, Felicia, was consistently unavailable, making one-on-ones rare and unproductive. Communication was scattered at best, leaving no real sense of direction or teamwork. The next level down, Patrick, didn’t improve matters—offering no real support or relief.
Company culture? Be warned: Managers and Partners talk (unfortunately, they thrive on negative convos). Everything you say or do will be scrutinized and remembered in your performance review meetings. Meanwhile, other teams and service groups functioned like well-oiled machines, while ours couldn’t even coordinate an office schedule. The constant disarray and lack of cohesion made the work environment exhausting.
Would not recommend to those who value structured support, leadership accountability, or a genuinely collaborative team.
