Pros
- several islandwide shuttle bus pick up points - nice colleagues as everyone is willing to help each other - current site head seems to be initiating positive changes but the rest of the SLT seems to be lacking of support. (Kind of sad to see this but hope the site head persevere despite the lack of support from his team)
Cons
- accepting too many projects when manpower is insufficient - unrealistic timelines - no priority listings as everything is urgent - poor performance review system, newcomers will always be on the lower end of the curve - even if you do well, efforts are not recognised and all you hear from your management is “at least you didn’t get developing” - when ground staff feedbacks about the current impractical timelines and workload, all we received was “we need to make it happen” - no prioritisation and lack of decision making abilities present in managers - when presented with suggestions to overcome certain issues, ground staffs are shot down - extremely slow hiring process - lack of replacement . Hence 1 person need to do 2.5 /3 person job - too overly ambitious in timelines and over promising of work - small canteen space - running low of desks in office - managers are not listening to the ground staff - lack of work life balance due to lack of prioritisation, frequent OTs (not claimable) - poor pay
