What is the salary like at La-Z-Boy?

Great pay is the only pro besides great store hours.

Little work/family balance, training lacks. It’s a lot to learn and unlike any other retail environment.

Good pay, great management. Great overall job and good benefits

No cons honestly, it’s a great company to work for

La Z Boy whole maybe not the most glamorous job in the world does offer some really great benefits to their employees. The environment is fairly slow paced any given weekday and offers a lot of opportunity for personal development. At least at the location I was at. Also pay is great considering the level of stress is often minimal.

Tracking orders and customer complaints is often difficult. Management can be fairly hands off

I enjoyed my time at La-z-boy. Great training, good pay structure if you are a high performer.

Won’t make a lot if you’re a low performer as it is commission based.

Flexible schedule and Some Friendly associates

Also the new pay structure is better than previous years but still not enough. With recent change the work environment has gone downhill. From employee favoritism and lack of moral conduct. Also when previous management recommended for an associate to be promoted the new manager told employee they where unqualified due to not having a degree. Allowing one employee to come in late and not responsible for any of the "other" duties asked of every other employee speaks volumes.
