Pros
Some people who work as Staff RNs are great people, salt of the earth.
Cons
They expect you to take 7-10 pts. And work with 2-3 CNAs. For 28+ patients. And the pts. Are heavy as in can't turn, on vents, and massive wounds. You have to do an Acuity on each pt every shift, but they don't go by Acuity as they are supposed to. They go by bed count. It's so bad the supervisors will have to work the floor besides their supervisory position. None of the upper management who all get 6 figures helps very often. All management is worried about is making their next bonus. If you call corporate either nothing is done, or they find out who reported them and you are gone. The staff does their hardest, but management is severely lacking.
