Does KPMG have a pension plan?

Pros

Work for a well-known company.

Cons

- The working hours were extreme: I've heard people in the lift battling on who worked the latest the day before and it was not infrequent for people to bring their laptops on the toilet seats; I've been requested to work not only in the night but also during the weekend in the office (unpaid); - No recognition: it doesn't matter how long I was working, the manager had always new work to add before the end of the normal working hours and I had to stay longer in the office; - Toxic environment: I found very few people supporting me when discussing to leave because of long working hours but many that believed that "this is how the world runs"; - Managers lacking any charisma: my manager was just thinking about how to appear to his own manager; - Lack of equipment for the employees: in the building there were not enough lockers for all the employees; the seats are hot desks and the settings of the chair of the chair itself changed frequently; arrive later and you need to find a sofa in order to work; - Lack of benefits: I've seen many companies and never as in this company I've seen so scarce benefits; almost all benefits were paid by the employees and the pension matching from the employer was the lowest I've ever had; in the summer party we even had to pay for our own trasportation to arrive to the venue and once arrived they offered only shared pizza after 2 hours waiting with no other restaurant around. The company provides you a daily credit for lunch but you are required to spend in the restaurants inside the building which won't survive one day outside the building with the crazy prices proposed (I decided to eat outside instead of giving my money to those restaurants). Even attending an internal training session for the Team was impossible because it meant I had to stay longer in the office. - There is no probationary period and the notice period is 3 months just make it as difficult as possible for the employees to leave: you just needed 1 day to realise my error. I even tried to explain that I was not OK with long hours but I received zero support; when I gave my notice my manager made the last 3 months a nightmare and there has been no possibility for me to agree on an early leaving date. - Risky position: I was working on sensitive projects but as every task was critical and urgent the job was done without any testing before release and we had a long list of known issues. I felt scared every day that some external controller could fine us (or sue us) even if I was constantly reporting the issues. Simply the worst experience I've ever had. Shocking and I bad experience I don't manage to forget.

Lack of benefits: I've seen many companies and never as in this company I've seen so scarce benefits; almost all benefits were paid by the employees and the pension matching from the employer was the lowest I've ever had; in the summer party we even had to pay for our own trasportation to arrive to the venue and once arrived they offered only shared pizza after 2 hours waiting with no other restaurant around.
