Micro has mandatory alternating weekends. that they dont fully disclose at hiring. YES alternating not rotating as in you work every other weekend your full shift. turn over is crazy and alot of things fall through the cracks alot of finger pointing. they cut corners in the lab and they work you to the bone. Alot of people are Egors but thats the culture of all labs we're all kind of introverts. Watch out for the toxic positivity. Think of the show FROM.

No breakroom, you’re expected to walk on your feet you’re entire shift, no transport exclusive wheelchairs, limited number 10-15 wheelchairs for the whole hospital, no storage space for wheelchairs, if understaffed no relief

- Managers not knowing how to balance schedules. Constantly had coworkers who were scheduled for days they couldn’t work, meanwhile there would be someone else who could work their shifts but was also improperly scheduled. Confusing, especially since we’re putting in our preferences - Didn’t have any nurse extern experience. Worked strictly as a PCT - Patient to staff ratio - Cafeteria isn’t open at night - Pay could be higher

Low staffing most of the time that doesn’t allow for proper self care during the shift. Cancellation of support roles like CNA leaves nurses to wear all hats on the shift: nurse and PCA. In events where things occur unexpectedly not having a tech creates delay of care, stress, and inability to take consistent breaks or even have a snack during a long 12 hour shift.
